כֹּהֵןm. (b. h.; כהן, v. כּוּן; cmp. b. h. כַּן) (standing, stationed, officer, esp. priest. Yoma 6a, a. fr. כ׳ גדול (abbr. כ״ג) high priest, כ׳ הדיוט ordinary priest.
